Office Watercoolers came to us to get a fresh new look for the website and to increase the number of enquiries they receive through the web.

We came up with a couple of design concepts for the client, and working with them we gradually refined the design until it met their requirements.

The site includes a Google Map and a content managed articles section which will be used to add articles to the website in order to provide useful information and help with search engine optimisation.

We used sIFR to create well styled, acccessible page titles, the mootools JavaScript library to create the accordion effect menu on the site. The functionality was created using a PHP framework. The site was developed using valid XHTML and CSS.

We are also working with the client to improve their Google Adwords campaign, we have managed to reduce costs several-fold, whilst increasing the number of pages viewed 29%, increasing the number of pages viewed per visit 75%, decreasing the number of visitors leaving the site immediately by 22% and increasing the average time users spent on the site 180%.

This has lead to a 115% increase in the number of enquiries made through the website in comparison to the same period last year (1/8/07 – 1/10/07 vs 1/8/08 – 1/10/08).
